We return for our next Ecstatic Dance Oakville — a deeper dive into rhythm, movement, and embodied connection.
This edition features a special live set with Auraboros — a multi-genre DJ and live drummer weaving together electronic soundscapes with raw, primal rhythm.
There’s something ancient that awakens when we move to live drums. This dance invites you into that pulse — into the heartbeat beneath the music.
Our previous gatherings have brought together 80+ dancers in a conscious, heart-centered space rooted in presence, expression, and community. Each event continues to build — refining the container while expanding the energy on the floor.
Set inside the serene atmosphere of My Vitae Sanctuary, the afternoon unfolds as a guided musical arc — from grounding and arrival, into deep rhythm and activation, emotional release, and a spacious integration.
No choreography. No expectations.
Just presence, breath, and movement — shared in a respectful, substance-free space.
This is an invitation to drop in. To feel more. To move what’s ready to move.

What happens when a lifelong metal drummer discovers multi-genre DJing? Musical snakes eating their own tails is what.
Launched in late 2024, Auraboros (aka Chris Taylor) has quickly found solid footing in Canada’s conscious dance scene, with appearances including Chocolate Groove, Daybreaker, Floorplay, Soul Expansion, and festivals such as Sonic Springs, Bumi Fest, Anahata, and Toronto Tantra Fest.
Juggling both live drumming and DJ mixing simultaneously, his sets take you far from where they begin — moving through wide-ranging tempos and genres — to land you somewhere different yet strangely familiar… just like his own life’s journey.

Closing Sound Meditation
The experience closes with a guided sound meditation facilitated by Jess of Willow-Ray Healing.
Through voice and layered instrumentation, the session supports the body in settling, integrating, and absorbing the movement journey — allowing space for stillness, reflection, and internal awareness before closing.
What Is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement journey — an invitation to move however your body wants to move.
There are no steps to learn, no choreography, and no expectations. It is a practice of self-expression, mindfulness, release, and embodied listening.
The music flows in waves — from slow and grounding to high-energy and expansive — allowing the body to move through sensation, emotion, energy, and rest.
Each dance is held in a safe, substance-free space, supporting you to drop out of the mind and into the body.
It’s not about how you look — it’s about how you feel.
