Naturopathy
For clarity, vitality and uncovering root causes
At my vitae, naturopathy isn’t one-size-fits-all, it’s an individualized, integrative approach to health that considers the full story of your body, lifestyle and goals.
Whether you're navigating digestion, hormonal shifts, immune concerns something as simple as fatigue, our licensed naturopathic doctors meet you where you are, working with your body rather than against it. It’s care that empowers, not overpowers.

Dr. Rachel Sawires
-
Rachel always dreamed of becoming a doctor to help others, but it wasn’t until her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis that she discovered naturopathic medicine. Drawn to its whole-person philosophy, she embraced an approach that values uncovering the root causes of illness and guiding patients through the body’s natural capacity for healing.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Rachel is dedicated to empowering patients to make confident, sustainable choices that improve both their health and quality of life. She partners with individuals to look deeper, identify and remove barriers to wellness, and co-create realistic strategies for long-term vitality.
Rachel places a particular emphasis on nervous system regulation, recognizing its central role in resilience, energy, and healing. She frequently integrates Bowen Therapy into her care — a gentle yet powerful modality designed to reset and regulate the nervous system — alongside other evidence-based naturopathic treatments. She is especially passionate about helping patients understand and address the physical manifestations of emotional suppression, where unprocessed experiences often surface as symptoms or disease. By weaving mind-body awareness with therapeutic tools like Bowen Therapy, Rachel supports patients not only in restoring balance, but in reconnecting with themselves on a deeper level.
Her academic journey began with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University in 2010, followed by a Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2017. She has since pursued advanced training, earning certification in Facial Rejuvenation and Cosmetic Acupuncture through Two Circles Acupuncture in 2021, as well as becoming a certified Bowen Practitioner through Bowen College in 2022. Rachel remains committed to lifelong learning and is currently working toward her IV Certification and Prescribing License, expected in November 2025.
Naturopathy blends the art of healing with modern science, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance by focusing on the root cause, not just the symptoms.
