Welcome back to the third edition of Ecstatic Dance Oakville — a conscious movement gathering rooted in music, embodiment, and community.
After two deeply nourishing gatherings with over 80 dancers, we are honored to return by popular demand, continuing to grow a heart-centered movement culture in Oakville.
Landing on the weekend before Valentine’s Day, this dance is an invitation into self-love, heart opening, and embodied presence — a space to reconnect with yourself, soften into the body, and move in devotion to your own inner rhythm.
Held within the serene and healing atmosphere of My Vitae, this experience invites you to quiet the mind, open the heart, and express your authentic self through movement.
Guided by a live, DJ-curated journey of global grooves with Cacaoboy (Jesse Buck), the dance unfolds in waves — from grounding and subtle beginnings, through deep rhythmic exploration and emotional release, into a gentle landing of integration and stillness.
This will be Jesse’s final dance before heading south for the next few months.
No experience required.
No choreography.
Just presence, breath, and movement.
What Is Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement journey — an invitation to move however your body wants to move.
There are no steps to learn and no expectations.
It is a practice of self-expression, emotional release, mindfulness, and embodied listening.
The music moves in waves — from slow and grounding to expansive and high-energy — allowing the body to travel through sensation, emotion, energy, and rest.
Each gathering is held in a safe, phone & substance-free environment, supporting you to shift out of the thinking mind and into the body.
It is not about how you look.
It is about how you feel.
