Ecstatic Dance Oakville — International Women’s Day Edition

We return for our fourth Ecstatic Dance Oakville — this time landing on International Women’s Day.
This edition honours the feminine current within all of us — intuition, creativity, resilience, rhythm — while welcoming every body to the floor. The intention is inclusive. The energy is elevated.
Our previous gatherings brought together over 80 dancers in a conscious, heart-centered space rooted in music, embodiment, and community. Each event continues to build momentum — deepening connection while keeping the container intentional and refined.
Set inside the serene atmosphere of My Vitae Sanctuary, the afternoon unfolds as a live DJ-curated musical journey. The soundscape moves in waves — from grounding and subtle arrival, into dynamic global grooves, emotional release, and a spacious landing for integration.
Our featured DJ will be announced soon.
No choreography.
No expectations.
Just presence, breath, and movement — shared in a respectful, substance-free space.
This is an invitation to gather differently.
To move with intention.
To celebrate strength and softness in equal measure.

What Is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement journey — an invitation to move however your body wants to move.
There are no steps to learn, no choreography, and no expectations.
It is a practice of self-expression, mindfulness, release, and embodied listening.
The music flows in waves — from slow and grounding to high-energy and expansive — allowing the body to move through sensation, emotion, energy, and rest.
Each dance is held in a safe, substance-free space, supporting you to drop out of the mind and into the body.
It’s not about how you look —
it’s about how you feel.

For the past seven years, Chocolate Groove has been hosting conscious, intentional celebrations — creating safe, inclusive spaces for gathering, dancing, and deep connection.
As a staple Sober Celebration in Toronto, we bring a wellness-focused, retreat-style experience into nightlife and community-gathering spaces. Since our first alcohol-free dance in 2018, we’ve continued to evolve — holding space for Ecstatic Dance, ceremony, and meaningful human connection.
At our core, we are more than just a dance party —
we are a community.
A space for authentic expression, presence, and celebration — where everyone is welcome.
